Wedding invitation

Hi everyone!!!! How are you?
I'm so excited to show you what I have created for the wedding of one of my friends. She has choose a party theme, the travel,  and two colors, white and blue tiffany, a sort of turquoise.

In Italy we usually use to make an invitation for the church and an other for the party.

I am very very happy of the result!!! and she is happy too. It's a draft, we have still to write all the wedding info;) Sizzix tools help me so much and with the embossing dies you can create something really beautiful for all occasions!

Materials you need:

  • Big Shot Machine ( Item code 655268)
  • Textured Impressions Embossing  Folders 2pk - Scroll Frame & Succulent Set by Basic Grey ( item code 657716)
  • Sizzlits Alphabet Set 9 Dies - Bee's Knees By Rachael Bright (item code 657753)
  • bazzill cardstock turquoise and white
  • 75 cm of white organza ribbon
  • a gem
  • a little white tag
  • stamps for the date
  • sewing machine
  • turquoise ink
  • trimmer
  • glue
  • corner punch

The process is very simple and easy!
  1. Cut a square in size 14,5 by 14,5 cm from the turquoise card stock
  2. Cut a square in size 14 cm by 14 cm from the white card stock
  3. Use the embossing die from the basic grey set only in the right of the square in order to leave the left side clear to can write the wedding info.
  4. The white card stock will be sticked on the turquoise
  5. Cut a rectangle of 14,5 cm width and 13 cm height and fold it not in half, a little less than a half to can create a sort of pocket where you will insert the party invitation.
  6. Use again the embossing die only on the front side to give a cool touch to the pocket just created
  7. Use a corner punch for the top corners
  8. Cut the names initials with the Bee's Knees alphabet from the white card stock and sew them on the turquoise pocket
  9. Cut an other piece of paper from the white card stock in size 14 cm width and 8 cm height , use the corner punch for the corners on the top
  10. Simply put inside the pocket the white little invitation for the party
  11. Place this pocket on the main invitation and close everything together with a ribbon
  12. Add a little tag with the date and a gem.
Just do it! So elegant and easy!!
